Life Outside of Engineering!

Off the Clock!
When I'm not in the office, I love being outdoors and staying active. Cycling is one of my biggest passions, and you'll often find me on biking the coast on the weekends. I've become hooked on endurance sports and enjoy watching my fitness improve as I train for new challenges. So far, I've completed three Half Ironmans and three full marathons, and my next big goal is to complete a full Ironman.
Growing up in Oceanside gave me a lifelong appreciation for the ocean. Surfing has been a huge part of my life, and during college I competed as a member of the UCLA Surf Team against other universities throughout the season. I also have a passion for fishing. While attending community college, I worked hard to save enough money to buy a boat with my brother and one of my closest friends. We spent three unforgettable summers on the water, targeting everything from local bass to offshore bluefin tuna.
I enjoy challenging myself in my everyday life, and spending time outdoors is a constant reminder of how much there is to learn and appreciate. Whether I'm training, surfing, or fishing, these experiences keep me grounded. I'm incredibly grateful to live a life that allows me to pursue these passions and enjoy everything the outdoors has to offer.
